As 2014 winds down, salespeople and managers should look at what tech tools are going to be most important the year to come.

I don’t plan on rehashing Jamie Shanks’ full post, but I do want to home in on one point he makes in his post on “10 Things that Modern Sales Teams Shouldn’t Live Without.” That thing is Content Producers.

Many sales reps may not think of themselves as “content producers.” They may be relying on the marketing team to help with that; however, the marketing team is up to their ears on other key projects. Sales reps should begin thinking “share & curate” — find great, existing material to share. With curation tools like scoop.it or storify.com, they can add their own spin to the shared story.

What if your sales team needs more help with finding, sharing, and creating content? That’s where outsourcing sales content creation and social sales support can come in handy. Businesses like Jackson Marketing Services help sales organizations improve their online reach and lead generation while support marketing’s existing campaign efforts.

Are you a social seller? What’s stopping you? What has helped you?
