Mailchimp → HubSpot, done right

Move from Mailchimp to HubSpot without losing your data

Migrating from Mailchimp to HubSpot should not mean dropped contacts, broken automations, or a week of emails landing in spam. We run the whole migration for you, so your lists, your sends, and your team keep working while we move everything that can come across, and account for what can't.

The Reason Migrations fail

Deciding to leave Mailchimp is the easy part.

You already know your email needs to talk to your CRM and your sales process — and it doesn't. The hard part is the move itself.

Years of contacts and subscription statuses. Segments you rebuilt three times. Automations nobody fully remembers setting up. The move feels heavy because so much of what you've built lives quietly inside one tool.

And underneath all of it: the quiet fear that one bad export tanks your deliverability and your next campaign lands in the junk folder.

That fear is why good teams sit on a migration they know they need. We do this for a living — so you don't have to learn it on your own data.

What's actually weighing on you

  • Years of contacts and subscription statuses
  • Segments you rebuilt three times
  • Automations nobody fully remembers setting up
  • The quiet fear: one bad export tanks deliverability and your next campaign lands in spam.

What we move

Everything that matters comes across—accounted for.

A Mailchimp to HubSpot migration is more than a contact export. Here's what we carry over, rebuild, or honestly tell you can't map one to one.

Contacts and subscription status

Every contact comes across with its opt-in state intact — so you stay compliant and never accidentally email someone who unsubscribed.

Audiences and segments

Your Mailchimp audiences and segments get rebuilt as HubSpot lists, mapped to the properties that actually drive your sales and marketing.

Automations and journeys

We recreate your active automations as HubSpot workflows — and flag anything that should be redesigned rather than copied.

Templates and branding

Your core email templates are rebuilt in HubSpot, so your sends still look like you.

Forms and signup paths

Embedded forms and signup flows move over and connect to the right lists and workflows.

Your reporting history, preserved honestly

HubSpot can't import your full Mailchimp send-and-open history—the native sync only carries recent activity. Before you cancel, we export and archive the older reporting for you, so you keep the record even though it doesn't live inside HubSpot.

Where something can't transfer cleanly, we flag it before we start — not after. You always know what changed and why.

How your migration works

Five steps, staged so nothing goes dark.

Your current setup keeps running until the new one is ready to take over. No big-bang cutover, no fingers crossed.

  1. 1

    Free assessment

We look at your Mailchimp account, your sending volume, and what you actually want HubSpot to do. You leave the call knowing the scope, the rough timeline, and whether HubSpot is even the right move for you.

  2. 2

    Migration plan

You get a clear mapping document: what moves as is, what gets rebuilt, what gets retired, and when. No surprises mid-project.

  3. 3

    Build and migrate

We set up HubSpot, move your data, and rebuild your automations in a staged way — so your current sending keeps running until the new setup is ready to take over.

  4. 4

    Validate and protect deliverability

Before you send a single live campaign from HubSpot, we test, check authentication, and confirm your emails are set up to reach the inbox.

We protect your sending reputation

The biggest risk in any migration is deliverability.

Move a list the wrong way and inbox providers notice — and your open rates fall off a cliff right when you need them most.

We handle the technical groundwork that protects you, and we ramp your sending so providers stay confident in you through the move.

Our job is to make sure the migration itself never costs you inbox placement. And if your reputation needs work before we move, we will tell you that upfront rather than after your first send underperforms.

What we handle for you

The unglamorous work that keeps you out of the spam folder.

  • Domain authentication

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC set up correctly.

  • Sensible list hygiene

We clean before anything moves, so you're not migrating bad addresses.

  • A measured sending ramp

Build send volume gradually, so inbox providers remain confident in you.

Who is this for?

Built for established B2B companies.

A strong fit

Established B2B companies, roughly $5M–$100M in revenue.Teams that have outgrown a standalone email tool and need email, CRM, and sales working as one system.

  • Manufacturers and distributors
  • Service businesses
  • Founder-led, family-owned, or employee-owned operations scaling past small business tools

Not for everyone

If it's not a fit, we'll say so.

If you send a simple newsletter to a small, stable list and you're happy, HubSpot is probably more than you need.

We'll tell you that on the assessment call rather than sell you a migration you don't want.

Why The B2B Mix

We ship the work, not just advice.

We're a HubSpot Solutions Partner, and the same team that scopes your migration is the team that runs it. No hand-off to a junior crew after you sign.

We work the way lean teams need a partner to work — and because we live in HubSpot every day, we set yours up to grow with you, not just to replace what Mailchimp was doing.

  • Plain English, no jargon
  • A real human, accountable from start to finish
  • Set up to grow, not just to swap tools

Common questions

Mailchimp to HubSpot: frequently asked questions

01 | Will I lose any contacts or data?

Your contacts, subscription status, lists, and tags come across in full, and you get a mapping document showing exactly what moved.

One exception: HubSpot can't pull your complete past campaign history—older sends and opens. That reporting stays in Mailchimp, so we export and archive it for you before you cancel. Nothing disappears by surprise.

02 | How long does it take?

It depends on the size of your Mailchimp account and how many automations you're running.

Plus, if you move into HubSpot, especially Marketing Hub Pro or Enterprise, you've received more features than you left behind. We can assist with lead scoring, CTA personalizations, lifecycle stages, and more to ensure you get the most out of your HubSpot investment.

Just getting your system ready for email takes minimal time: It's a quick win to get you ready to email. Getting the full system ready to go beyond email takes longer. We'll give you an estimate so you know what to expect.

03 | Will my emails start landing in spam?

The migration itself won't be what sends you to spam. We handle the authentication and ramp your sending carefully so the move doesn't hurt your deliverability.

One caveat: If your domain's sending reputation is already damaged from past habits, switching platforms doesn't reset it. Reputation follows your domain, not your tool. If that's your situation, we'll catch it in the assessment and give you a realistic plan to rebuild it, which takes disciplined sending over time, not a quick fix.

04 | Do I have to pay for both tools at once?

Briefly, yes, during the overlap while we stage the migration. We keep that window as short as the work safely allows, so you're not double-paying longer than necessary.

05 | What happens to my Mailchimp templates and automations?

The "keepers" get rebuilt in HubSpot. Any that you want to rework can be redesigned in HubSpot, too.

06 | Is this just setup, or do you stick around?

Your call. We can hand it off with documentation and training, or stay embedded and run it with you. Many of our clients start with the migration and keep us on for ongoing support or to provide full email marketing services.

07 | What does it cost?

Migration scope varies, so we price it after the free assessment when we know what's actually involved. You'll get a fixed scope before any work begins.
